Mixed berry chutney

To be served atop meat or fish. 1-2 servings

Frozen mixed berries - 1-2 cups
Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
White vinegar - 1/4 cup
Lemon juice - 1/2 a lemon
Chopped onion - 1/4 cup
Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
Salt - 2 tsp

Heat all ingredients in a sauce pan. Mash berries. Simmer until thick.
